Reverse Thursday [#1] Easy by Tammara Webber

Reverse Thursday is a meme created by Ashley @ Bookaholics Anonymous Online that spotlights highly-anticipated books that have been out for a while.

This week's pick is:

Genre: New Adult Contemporary Romance

Published: November 6th 2012 by Penguin Berkley
Purchase from: Amazon | The Book Depository
When Jacqueline follows her longtime boyfriend to the college of his choice, the last thing she expects is a breakup two months into sophomore year. After two weeks in shock, she wakes up to her new reality: she's single, attending a state university instead of a music conservatory, ignored by her former circle of friends, and failing a class for the first time in her life.

Leaving a party alone, Jacqueline is assaulted by her ex's frat brother. Rescued by a stranger who seems to be in the right place at the right time, she wants nothing more than to forget the attack and that night - but her savior, Lucas, sits on the back row of her econ class, sketching in a notebook and staring at her. Her friends nominate him to be the perfect rebound.

When her attacker turns stalker, Jacqueline has a choice: crumple in defeat or learn to fight back. Lucas remains protective, but he's hiding secrets of his own. Suddenly appearances are everything, and knowing who to trust is anything but easy.

I came across the intro post for this new meme by Ashley @ Bookaholics Anonymous Online and thought, "It's perfect!" We already have Waiting On Wednesday that features upcoming releases so why not have another meme that shows books releases 2-3 years ago? I, for one, am guilty of getting sidetracked by new releases that I often forget those I already have. So really, Reverse Thursday is an awesome idea.

I picked Easy by Tammara Webber to feature today because it's easily one of my favorite New Adult reads. It tackles some deep serious issue but still swoon-worthy nonetheless. I actually won my copy from a giveaway and dived into it immediately. You can read my review to know why I love this book so much! ^__^

What do you think about this new meme, guys? Wanna try Reverse Thursday, too? Check out the intro post for the guidelines! And have you read Easy, too? Comment your thoughts about it. You can also leave your link if you reviewed it. Happy Thursday! ^__^

Julie @ Books and Insomnia

Julie is a Filipina blogger who pretends she has insomnia so she can stay up late reading. When she's not buried in books, she can be found watching anime, drinking chocolate-flavored instant coffee, lurking on the internet, daydreaming and talking about herself in third person. She loves purple and anything sweet!

  1. I really want to read this one too! I've started reading NA, and I really like it. This one seems to be a favorite for most! :)

    1. I'm picky when it comes to NA and Easy is one of my favorites. I hope you enjoy it when you pick it up. :)

  2. I bought this a year ago for $2 when it was on sale but haven't gotten around to reading it. :/ There have been so many glowing reviews for it but I'm REALLY lazy and it takes a certain mood for me to read a New Adult romance novel. I love this feature, though!

    1. Aw, I hope you enjoy it when the mood for NA strikes you. :) Thanks, Sydney!

  3. I am loving the reverse Thursday idea. :D

  4. I haven't see this meme before and you're right, it looks like a lot of fun. I also loved Easy! I think it is one of the first NA that I read and it's still one of my favorites.

    1. This is a new meme and yes, it's lots of fun! :)

  5. Awww...Thank you so much for taking the time to do this. I'm hoping it will catch on.
As for your pick I think I saw it a lot when I'd go on amazon and click through, and it really does sound like a good read. I need to check it out.

    1. Your meme's really fun to do, Ashley. I also hope more people will join in. :) Please do check it out, and I hope you enjoy it. :)

  6. Easy was such a good read! It was one of my first NAs, back when I didn't know it was an NA in the first place! Haha. The love interest was just so swoony.

    1. So true! Lucas is one of my favorite book boyfriends! :)

  7. So much love for this book, it was probably one of the first NA books I read and I just completely fell in love with not only the story but, when done right, the genre as well.

    Great post hun :)
