Flavor of the Month: March 2015

Flavor of the Month is a monthly feature here in Books and Insomnia that features new book releases this month.

It's March already and summer's fast approaching here in the Philippines. What better way to battle the heat but to stay inside and curl up with a good book? Real good timing too, because a lot of good books are coming our way this month. Check these goodies out! ^__^

Julie @ Books and Insomnia

Julie is a Filipina blogger who pretends she has insomnia so she can stay up late reading. When she's not buried in books, she can be found watching anime, drinking chocolate-flavored instant coffee, lurking on the internet, daydreaming and talking about herself in third person. She loves purple and anything sweet!

  1. It's just amazing how many books come out each month. But such a yay at the same time :) One day I'll try Bishop. Have heard so many good things :)

    1. There are really a lot of intriguing releases every month, it's hard to catch up! But I'm not complaining because at least there are lots to choose from. :)

  2. I am reading Mosquitoland right now and it's so good!!

    Kate @ Ex Libris

  3. I see so many great books on here, lots of debuts too (squee!). :D Under A Painted Sky & Storyspinner were FANTASTIC. Dead to Me was pretty good too. Emery Lord's book sounds so cute yet deep as well. I hear We All Looked Up is really thought-provoking and good, I think I'm starting that one soon...I'm really excited to read The Wrong Side of Right, Everything That Makes You, and Orphan Queen, and Mosquitoland. Nice round-up! :)

    1. Yay! Thanks for the recommendations, Rachel! And I'm so excited for the debuts, too. :)

  4. Holy shiz, I didn't know there were so many awesome books coming out soon. I'm keeping my eye on The Storyspinner for reasons, though. And Vision in Silver is absolutely amaze-balls. GET THAT AS SOON AS YOU CAN!!! Or the rest of the series too if you haven't yet! :P

    Faye at The Social Potato

    1. I haven't read that series yet but after reading your review of Vision in Silver, I can't wait to get a copy of those books. :)

  5. There are a RIDICULOUS amount of books coming out this month, which makes me happy because it's my birthday month so I feel a tad honored to know there are all of these releases. ;D

I'm excited for quite a few of these, particularly The Orphan Queen, Mosquitoland, and The Winner's Crime. I haven't yet read The Winner's Curse but I'm pleased there's a sequel out now so I can binge read the first two when I'm ready. :P

Also, props to compiling this list. I'd give up after finding out there are like 5 books releasing on the same day. XD

    1. It's a work compiling this list but it's worth it. I love seeing the new releases in one page. Hehee.. :) Happy birthday month, Sydney! Thanks for dropping by. :)
