Celebrate #MockingjayPart1 with a #Giveaway! (aka Early Christmas Gift)

I saw The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 movie last Friday night with my aunt and it was amazing! I've never been too keen to watch book-to-movie adaptations because I'm always worried it'll come out so horribly different from the book. So I thank the god of movie adaptations because Mockingjay was filmed beautifully. It is only now that I appreciate the need to split the last book into two movies, because two hours is never enough to contain that much action and story. (Actually, two movies is not enough but what can we do?)

So to celebrate Mockingjay Part 1's huge success in my own little blogger way, I'm going to give one lucky follower a paperback copy of one of the book-to-movie adaptations I've watched this year. I've only seen three (see? not too keen.) so you have limited choices but these books are really good and awesome, as are their movie adaptations. ^__^

Actual covers may vary.

  10. I read Hunger Games and saw the movie. I haven't seen Mockingjay Part 1- yet, but definitely want to see it in the theater. I tend to prefer the books to the movies, but I always like it when a movie does a book justice. This one sounds great!

I would love to win a copy of If I Stay. Thanks for the chance to win. :)

    1. The reason why I don't watch a lot of adaptations is because sometimes the film doesn't do the book justice. Fortunately for me, those three I've listed above are made so good and as close to the book as possible. :)
      Good luck!

  11. I haven't watched Mockingjay yet but I'm dying to. The Fault in Our Stars was one of the best adaptations I've seen in a long time, and If I Stay didn't come out in my country (But the trailer looked interesting)

    1. Oh, you should definitely see Mockingjay! It was sooo good! ^__^ And I'm sorry you didn't get to see If I Stay. It was sad but beautiful and the film stayed as close to the book as possible. What country are you from, by the way? :) Thanks for entering, Yun-A!
