TOP TEN TUESDAY [#4] Books I Recommend The Most

It's Tuesday, bookies! You know what that means! It's time for our weekly top ten! Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created by The Broke and the Bookish. Here we list our top ten picks for a certain topic. This week's topic is:
TOP TEN BOOKS I RECOMMEND THE MOST
If you are like me, you probably don't have a favorite book. You have DOZENS! (Did I get close enough? Or HUNDREDS is more appropriate?) You have those books you always want to talk about because they are oh so awesome. You want your friends and every single member of your family to read these books. And when someone asks for book recommendations, these are your champions. Wanna know mine? Here they are:

These books tackles about teenage issues and both are beautifully written. While Thirteen Reasons Why is kinda serious, Suicide Notes is very quirky and funny.

Now these two are among the contemporaries that broke my heart. I especially loved Jellicoe Road, very beautiful book. It made me laugh and cry a lot. Sing Me To Sleep took my breath away. I will never forget that book.

Tell me you're not surprised to see Divergent and The Hunger Games here. If dystopian is your thing, you should really try these two books. Kick-ass heroines leading rebellions in post-apocalyptic societies? Yup, that's them.

For kids of all ages! Harry Potter and Percy Jackson series are my go-to books when I want to read something fun. HP is so amazing, I can't even imagine Rowling's awesomeness.  Percy Jackson and the Olympians is also cool. I love Greek mythology so I really devoured this series. Plus Rick Riordan creates awesome characters.

I'm not really into sci-fi but this Lorien Legacies series is also cool. See, I like my characters with powers. And they're aliens! Not the stereotype thin-body-huge-head-black-eyes alien, but aliens who look like humans. This was a first for me and I loved it!

Last but definitely not the least, Vampire Academy! This is not your typical vampire novel. Full of action, romance, humor and magic, VA will constantly keep you on your toes. Not to mention hot and gorgeous vampires and dhampirs. *wink* You seriously need to read it if you haven't yet!
Now that you've seen mine, it's time for YOUR recommendations. I'd love to see your lists and discover other great books! What books do you recommend? Tell me what you think and leave your links in the comments. ^_^

Happy Tuesday!

  1. OMG! I absolutely LOVE Rick Riordan!!! I didn't include it in My Top Ten Tuesday because we were focusing on YA books, but I think the Percy Jackson series is certainly one of my favourites!

  4. I would recommend all of those books to people who are just starting to discover YA genre.
Vampire Academy would be the first thing I would recommend, even before HP or HG. What can I say, I'm a huge vampire fan.
