TOP TEN TUESDAY [#1] Series I'd Like To Start But Haven't Yet

Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created by The Broke and the Bookish. Here we list our top ten picks for a certain topic. This week's topic is:

Top Ten Series I'd Like To Start But Haven't Yet

We all have those series that we want to read but for some reason, they just sit on our shelves untouched. Maybe we haven't found the time to start them yet or we get sidetracked by new releases. Whatever the reason, we get a bit guilty and frustrated that we haven't read them yet, right? So this is the time to list your top ten of those series. Here are my picks:

1. Bloodlines by Richelle Mead
I know! I should have started this series long ago but I love Rose and Dimitri and Adrian so much that I don't want to read Sidney's story yet. *le sigh*

2. Sookie Stackhouse by Charlaine Harris
Another vampire series that I'd like to read. Only, when I remember how many books there are in this series, I get exhausted already.

3. Fifty Shades by E.L. James
I've read a lot of feedback about this series, a lot of them negative. But still, I'd like to see for myself what the fuss is all about.

4. Artemis Fowl by Eoin Colfer
I love adventure! And it helps that this is a completed series. No more waiting for next books! Yipee!

5. Caster Chronicles by Kami Garcia and Margaret Stohl
Okay, the fact that it's made into a movie boosted my curiousity. And I can't watch the film without reading the books first so...

6. Angels of the Dark by Gena Showalter
I love love Gena Showalter! Enough said.

7. Uglies by Scott Westerfeld
Another dystopian read I'm curious about.

8. The Hollows by Kim Harrison
Witches and vampires and demons and other paranormal creatures in one book? Now, that sounds interesting.

9. The Secrets of the Immortal Nicholas Flamel by Michael Scott
Because Nicholas Flamel is Albus Dumbledore's friend. Need I say more? LOL

10. Chaos Walking by Patrick Ness
A lot of people have been gushing about how great this series is, that's why I'm so excited to read this. Er, probably after I tackled the 100+ books on my TBR pile.

So there you have it, folks! Those are the top ten series I'd like to start but haven't yet. How about you? What series are you dying to read?

  4. Great list. I would like to read Bloodlines as well!!

I think people love or hate 50 shades. I haven't seen too many reviews that are in between. I have the same curiosity about that series. I just want to know what everyone is talking about.

  8. I enjoyed the first oh 6 or so Sookie Stackhouse books and then that series kinda took a nosedive, but the first few are quite excellent (the fourth is my favorite!)
I loved the Fifty Shades series, but I went in to it with zero expectation and took it for what it was!
I also want to read the Chaos Walking series!
Great list and thanks for stopping by my blog :)
