Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly event hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine, that spotlights upcoming releases that we're eagerly anticipating.

Series: Book 4, Robert Langdon series
Author: Dan Brown
Release Date: May 14, 2013
Publisher: Knopf Doubleday
Genre: Mystery, Thriller
In his international blockbusters The Da Vinci Code, Angels & Demons, and The Lost Symbol, Dan Brown masterfully fused history, art, codes, and symbols. In this riveting new thriller, Brown returns to his element and has crafted his highest-stakes novel to date.

In the heart of Italy, Harvard professor of symbology Robert Langdon is drawn into a harrowing world centered on one of history’s most enduring and mysterious literary masterpieces . . . Dante’s Inferno.

Against this backdrop, Langdon battles a chilling adversary and grapples with an ingenious riddle that pulls him into a landscape of classic art, secret passageways, and futuristic science. Drawing from Dante’s dark epic poem, Langdon races to find answers and decide whom to trust . . . before the world is irrevocably altered.

Dan Brown became one of my favorite authors the moment I finished Angels and Demons. The way he writes is so mesmerizing, I find it hard to put his books down. That's why when I learned that there will be another Robert Langdon novel, I was so excited and immediately added Inferno to my wishlist. I'm expecting mystery and excitement in this new book. And of course, I'm also looking forward to the history lessons. ^_^ For all the twists and turns of his stories, one thing I'm certain is that Dan Brown never disappoints.

    Great pick though!
